Photography
Some days I think my soul lives in a camera. Photography is the art that flows from my mind and fingers most naturally, most freely, uninterrupted. With my eye to the viewfinder, I don’t think: I respond to what’s in front of me.
Compelling photography is about stories, and compelling stories are about people. To me, the camera’s product puts the ephemeral to paper, recalling memories in 35mm blips. C-41, my first love in the darkroom, will never be replaced.
What follows is a sampling from fifteen years behind the lens.
