DTS Viewbook

The concept was simple enough: Show prospective students what Dallas Theological Seminary is like.

Founded in 1924, DTS exists to “to glorify God by equipping godly servant-leaders for the proclamation of His Word and the building up of the body of Christ worldwide.” Teach Truth. Love Well.

I realized early on in the process that the school already had a catalog. This project should be a view-book, not a read-book. I wanted the images to tell a lot of the narrative. The design should communicate a regal, established, and honorable history, while still exuding a modern elegance. In my work, I seek timeless design, not following trends but crafting solutions that will look as good thirty years from now as they do today.

What follows is the solution that went to print.
